Intermittently, my keyboard completely stops working. If I log out of KDE, the keyboard works normally again as soon as the login screen is displayed. Therefore I am sure this is not a random hardware issue. <br />

I cannot say that there is any particular sequence of events that leads up to these events. <br />

I cannot see anything pertaining to this in any of the log files. <br />
<br />
I wonder whether this is related in any way to when my Alt key randomly stops working (also reported to you)? That can also be cured by logging out of KDE.
