After upgrading a CentOS 6.4 to 2.6.32-358.18.1 today the systems hung in boot after the message:<br />
"[drm] Driver supports precise vblank timestamp query."<br />
<br />
Adding "nomodeset" or "radeon.modeset=0" to the kernel resolves the issue.
