0005441: Trying to get Adaptec Raid working with Supermicro 1026GT-TF (Intel ICH10R SATA 3.0Gbps Controller)

We have tried installing Centos 6.2, 6.1, 6.0, and 5.7, using the Adaptec Raid Version of the Intel ICH10R SATA 3.0Gbps Controller. The RHEL Adaptec drivers never recognize the RAID 10 set that I made. I used Supermicro's required drivers, and only got "Loading Adaptec Driver..." when using CentOS 5.5.

Drivers Download Page:
ftp://ftp.supermicro.com/driver/SATA/Adaptec_ICH10R/Linux/17725.2/ [^]

We are trying to use the Adaptec Raid version (selected in Bios), because the Intel Version does not support Hot-Fail drives under linux (only Windows).

1. Is there no support for either the Adaptec version of this Intel Raid cart, or preferably...
2. a way to add Hot-Fail drives to the Intel RAID 10 volume under Centos 6.2?

I have never had an issue with earlier versions of Centos 5x supporting my Supermicro hardware, so was surprised when I had to spend hours trying to get the installer to recognize the RAID set.

The file uploaded is the error I would get after creating an Adaptec RAID 10 with hotspare and trying to install Centos 6.2, 6.1, 6.0 or 5.7....
