I have an issue with Intel network card 82583V(e1000e driver),the ethernet port detect Hardware Unit Hang and reset unexpected. It seems to occur after few hours during high traffic on the interface. Sometimes the ethernet port go down and never recovery. I tried the latest e1000e driver from Intel(e1000e-2.4.14) ,but the issue is still exist. I attached message to this issue.<br /> <br /> Example error from message:<br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: e1000e 0000:07:00.0: eth2: Detected Hardware Unit Hang:<br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: TDH <d63><br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: TDT <d7c><br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: next_to_use <d7c><br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: next_to_clean <d63><br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: buffer_info[next_to_clean]:<br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: time_stamp <1002ee27b><br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: next_to_watch <d63><br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: jiffies <1002efa2d><br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: next_to_watch.status <0><br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: MAC Status <80783><br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: PHY Status <796d><br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: PHY 1000BASE-T Status <7800><br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: PHY Extended Status <3000><br /> Jun 23 14:09:45 skysan19346 kernel: PCI Status <10><br /> Jun 23 14:09:47 skysan19346 kernel: ------------[ cut here ]------------<br /> Jun 23 14:09:47 skysan19346 kernel: WARNING: at net/sched/sch_generic.c:261 dev_watchdog+0x26d/0x280() (Tainted: P ---------------- )<br /> Jun 23 14:09:47 skysan19346 kernel: Hardware name: Carlow<br /> Jun 23 14:09:47 skysan19346 kernel: NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth2 (e1000e): transmit queue 0 timed out<br /> Jun 23 14:09:47 skysan19346 kernel: Modules linked in: ip6table_filter ip6_tables iptable_filter ip_tables ebtable_nat ebtables vessapp(U) iscsi_scst(U) crc32c_intel nfsd lockd nfs_acl auth_rpcgss exportfs sunrpc scst_vdisk(U) libcrc32c scst_disk(U) scst(U) noop(U) vlru(U) cbd(U) bwtrace(U) bonding ipv6 ext4 jbd2 raid456 async_raid6_recov async_pq raid6_pq async_xor xor async_memcpy async_tx kvm_intel kvm i2c_i801 i2c_core iTCO_wdt iTCO_vendor_support e1000e(U) sg snd_hda_codec_realtek snd_hda_intel snd_hda_codec snd_hwdep snd_seq snd_seq_device snd_pcm snd_timer snd soundcore snd_page_alloc ext3 jbd mbcache sd_mod crc_t10dif video output ahci t3sata(P)(U) dm_mod [last unloaded: scsi_wait_scan]<br /> Jun 23 14:09:47 skysan19346 kernel: Pid: 0, comm: swapper Tainted: P ---------------- 2.6.32-71.el6.5.vsds.x86_64 <a href="http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=1">0000001</a><br /> Jun 23 14:09:47 skysan19346 kernel: Call Trace:<br /> Jun 23 14:09:47 skysan19346 kernel: <IRQ> [<ffffffff8106b5e7>] warn_slowpath_common+0x87/0xc0<br /> Jun 23 14:09:47 skysan19346 kernel: [<ffffffff8106b6d6>] warn_slowpath_fmt+0x46/0x50<br /> Jun 23 14:09:47 skysan19346 kernel: [<ffffffff814285ad>] dev_watchdog+0x26d/0x280<br /> Jun 23 14:09:47 skysan19346 kernel: [<ffffffff8101ae05>] ?
