After using Gnome desktop for a few hours I experienced X freezing itself. Mouse cursor moved but couldn't click anything or switch to VT. After waiting a bit even the mouse cursor disappeared. Had to do hard reset.<br />
After reboot issue repeated itself after ~20min. I had only Firefox and few terminal windows open in Gnome.
