ypserv does not respond to broadcast requests from ypbind. ypserv sees the broadcast request, but reports the localhost IP address rather than the client address.<br />

If I explicitly specify the server via /etc/yp.conf, ypbind works. I've tested ypbind from both CentOS 5 and 6 and see the same behavior with a CentOS 6.2 server.
