Description of problem:<br />
Evolution had worked on this sytem from original CentOS 7 install (build 20140704-1507), but was somehow corrupted (or dependencies corrupted) to make the main gui crash on launch.<br />
Evolution calendar and factory continued to run at every system boot.<br />
Did a re-install via original CentOS 7 rpm after removed all installed files from the system as listed in RPM evolution-3.8.5-21.el7.x86_64.rpm.<br />
Ran evolution, no splash or gui shown. (same symptoms as prior to removal/reinstall).<br />
