No idea why the (null) raid type comes up, because even when I tell the Intel winraid controller to boot up in AHCI or IDE mode, and remove the SAS RAID controller from the machine, the installer still breaks.<br />

openSuSE 11.4 works just fine, and after it's booted up, it reports raid type (null) for some non-existent raid array.<br />
<br />
Ubuntu 10.04 works just fine with none of this quirkiness.
