On installing CentOS 7.0-1406 get consistent failure with message that /dev/root does not exist. After dropping into the Dracut Emergency Shell do find that /dev/root does NOT exist. Last and only unusual message found in journalctl file is "sda: spurious uevent, path already in pathvec". Message is in color red in the journal.
