running pfsense 2.0 beta rc3 as a guest in centos 5.6 <br />

pfsense is doing nat,traffic shaping,loadbalancer,routing,bgp,carp failover, kvm interfaces are emulating intel e1000, the device runs flawlessly.<br />

once you upgrade it to centos 5.7 the router will randomly have ping spikes upto 5,000ms before it times out, after abou 20seconds the pfsense router come back to life. you can force it to "lag then time out" by downloading 2-3 megs thru from a source on the otherside of the pfsense router, you will see 200-300ms pings which is a sign its about to fail
