after installing recent updates weird messages in dmesg appears:<br /> <br /> r8169 0000:01:00.0: firmware: requesting rtl_nic/rtl8168d-1.fw<br /> r8169 0000:01:00.0: eth0: invalid firwmare<br /> r8169 0000:01:00.0: eth0: unable to load firmware patch rtl_nic/rtl8168d-1.fw (-22)<br /> r8169 0000:01:00.0: eth0: link down<br /> r8169 0000:01:00.0: eth0: link down<br /> r8169 0000:01:00.0: eth0: link up<br /> <br /> <br /> NIC is working well, but what is reason for this message?<br /> Why is kernel trying to load non existing firmware for it?
