0006228: Official CentOS 6 Amazon EC2 images backed by instance store seem not available

I'm referring to your Cloud AWS wiki page here:

http://wiki.centos.org/Cloud/AWS [^]

We have been very happy to see that there are now official CentOS AMIs on the AWS Marketplace. But unfortunately, I can't find any of the instance-store/s3 backed AMIs that are listed on your wiki on Marketplace. The AMI IDs given on the wiki don't seem to not exist.

So we tried to quickly convert your EBS-backed AMI (this one does exist!) into an instance-store backed one but the process fails apparently because of license limitations and "product code" related issues likely linked to the distribution through AWS Marketplace. See here:

https://forums.aws.amazon.com/thread.jspa?threadID=115495 [^]

So it would be fantastic if you could make the instance-store backed AMIs as are listed on your wiki page also actually available in Marketplace as this is the kind of AMI we are looking for.

Further, I think it would be great if you could make the AMIs also available for download from outside Marketplace. It seems the Marketplace distribution can add unnecessary hassle (having to subscribe to your product first, accepting the EULA, then running into issues with the attached product code, etc.).

We'll be very grateful for any help you can provide to fix our problem.

Thank you.
