Every so often, I was having trouble connecting to my freenx-server with remmina. I would receive the error message "Server won't say bye to us?" <br />

I came across a fix for freenx-server on Fedora 18... I did almost exactly the same thing (see the additional information section) - I just added 2>/dev/null to the end of all lines with '$COMMAND_NETCAT'. Worked like a charm.
