I am attempting to compile pimcpp code (https://github.com/bkclark/pimcpp [^]) on Linux using cmake/2.8.7, openmpi-1.6.5, fftw-3.3.3, gsl-1.16, blitz and sprng libraries, hdf5-1.8.13, and ATLAS libraries all compiled with gcc-4.4.7. The "cmake" step finishes successfully and all the libraries are found.

When I issue "make", at 28% of compiling/linking, I get the following error:
0008135: Constantly TCP Crashes / Link Reset in NIC (Tigon 3)
Hi,

I'm using the tigon 3 kmod-driver from ELRepo 7 (tg3), because I had the same results with all the kernel versions of CentOS from the first to the last, which I'm using right now : 3.10.0-123.13.2.el7.x86_64

I've didn't found any way to fix this, here is the log it generates in /var/log/messages :
I don't have any clue how this can be fixed, but all the time, when this happens, there is a 4 seconds until the PHY Link is restablished in the NIC. I've checked the wires and the switch port for errors, even tried with another machine to make sure it was not bad and indeed it is not. It happens only when using CentOS 7 + (tg3) driver.

Sincerely,

0008559: JAVA_OPTS Value No Longer Evaluated for Nested Variables
To turn on remote tomcat debugging I had added the following line to /etc/tomcat/tomcat.conf:

JAVA_OPTS="${JAVA_OPTS} -Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=8000,server=y,suspend=n"

With tomcat 7.0.42, this functioned as expected and opened the debug port.

I then upgraded to tomcat 7.0.54 and tomcat refuses to start. Errors in messages log are:

Apr 24 09:29:11 XX server: Error: Could not find or load main class ${JAVA_OPTS}

The ${JAVA_OPTS} variable is no longer being evaluated but is being passed as a literal string which causes the jvm to abort.

If I remove the nested ${JAVA_OPTS} variable I lose the ability to pass other options from the environment, but tomcat will then start properly.

0008561: Firefox HTML5 viewer not working properly
The HTML5 viewer of Firefox (mainly tested on youtube) is not working properly:
- changing video position once works, but the second time, the video keeps loading without being played. After that all html5 videos cannot be played. Closing firefox does not solve the problem since the processus keeps running in background. "killall firefox" solve the problem.
- In HD (>=720p), videos performances are bad (every 3 seconds, video hangs for 0.5 second). It gets worst the more video is watched

Gstreamer is enable in Firefox. Videos plays fine in Totem or VLC.
PC is a lenovo t440p, with Intel Corporation Haswell-ULT and NVIDIA Corporation GK208M managed by bumblebee (which is not working properly on Centos, reported also, maybe linked?).
