0005266: dm_multipath is still active after multipathd has stopped --> OS is crashing at reboot/halt

My server is locking up while rebooting or halting because shutting down multipath does not really work.<br /> <br /> The server is using an active/passive multipath iscsi storage-system.<br /> <br /> Upon reboot CentOS6 stopps multipathd then iscsi/d, which seems to be okay.<br /> But a few seconds later dm_multipath sees path failures (because iscsid has been stopped).<br /> <br /> I've attached four ({1,2,3,4}.jpg) screenshots, where the shoutdown oddness is observable.<br /> BTW: "beenden" is German for "stopping". :-)
