0007500: tuned causes system freezes while running X server amd during updates

After installation of the fresh CentOS 7 system (that runs without any issues) system is not able to boot - it hangs after graphical boot splash is finished but before GDM screen appears (with black screen displayed). It is possible to boot the system in a single user mode and execute "telinit 3" - in this case there is a chance (not 100%) that firstboot will kick in, X will start and initial configuration will be performed. At this point system will appear to work normally until "yum update" is executed - once yum will come to the point of updating tuned the system will immediately freeze. It doesn't matter if yum update is executed from within X session or from text console, system will always hang at exact moment of updating tuned, instantly. Screen turns black (or slightly purple) while system hangs. There is nothing meaningful left in the logs (sometimes some binary garbage at the end of /var/log/messages). For the most part it looks like somebody just pulled the plug from computer but left monitor turned on. System becomes completely dead, doesn't respond to keyboard, mouse, doesn't respond to ping.
