0005661: USB compatibility issues

I have multiple OSs on a single computer;

Win XP Home - 32 bit
Centos 6.2 - 64 bit
Kubuntu 11.10 - 64 bit
Kubuntu 11.10 32-bit

The computer is primarily set up as a platform for X-Plane (flight simulator) and all of the above Os (except CentOS for the following reasons), but is also used as a "normal" computer (desktop)

As such, it has a number of PC flight controls attached to the USB ports, most of them from Saitek.

When I installed CentOS 6 today, the mouse pointer kept returning to the same place on the screen once KDE or Gnome was entered. This continued until I unplugged all of the flight controls and the mouse pointer was free to move normally.

I plugged the Saitek X52 flight controller back into any USB port and the mouse pointer returned to the same point on the screen no mater how I moved th emouse.

This conflict did not happen in Windows or Kubuntu (32 or 64 bit installs), only CentOS. This confllict was present in CentOS 6.0 (from CD) and subsequent upgrade to 6.2 via yum.
